For 2010 Trek has a new line of electric assist bikes under the name “Ride+.”

This past August was Trek World where dealers of Trek, Gary Fisher and Bontrager go and learn all about the next years product. One of the hot ticket items was the electric assist bike line up from Trek. Using a rechargeable battery that connects to a Silent Drive motor, with a push of a button you can have 200x the energy you are putting into the bike. Trek has named their electric assist bike series the Ride+ that has various models borrowed from their current lifestyle lineup.

Trek Store has the Trek District, 520, EX 6 and EX 5 WSD instock.
Cool Breeze has EX 7, EX 8, and a handful of entry level mountain bikes like the 4300a and limited edition 3700.
Carbon fiber Trek Remedy, new suspension designs and the proven “ABP” (Active Braking Pivot) to be found down the line. Sounds like the 2010 Trek mountain bike line will be a huge hit!
Both the race-ready Top Fuel and the trail-oriented Fuel EX bikes received notable upgrades for 2010. The new bikes are significantly lighter and stiffer than previous models, with improved suspension performance.
Most notably, the DCRV will be available on the high-end Fuel EX 9.9 and 9.8 EX models, as well as the Fuel EX 8, which has a retail price of $2,500.
